Galleries in Cambridge
One of the wonderful things about travel is seeing local art. With so many people visiting Cambridge to see the University I wondered how many knew about the many good art galleries in the city. It's easy to combine your tourism so if you're visiting Cambridge and want to see art, here is a list of galleries in the historic city centre. 
Broughton House Gallery  RECOMMENDED
The best gallery in Cambridge.  Exhibitions change monthly, showcasing well know artists. Also houses the Gwen Raverat Collection.  A great character gallery and one where I  regularly exhibit.
Just round the corner from Jesus College and Christs College.

Michealhouse Cafe and Centre
Cafe, Church and gallery set in a stunningly part converted church. A great place to get a coffee or lunch. Regular themed art exhibitions, concerts and events.

Kettles Yard Gallery and House  RECOMMENDED
Kettles yard Gallery has changing exhibitions of innovative work by well known artists. Kettles Yard House is really Cambridge's true 'gem'. A home turned Museum housing Jim Ede's remarkable collections of art, furniture and books from the 1900-1950's.
